Westbrook, Travis "Pop" Dean (Rising Fawn)

Travis “Pop” Dean Westbrook, 89, of Rising Fawn, passed away September 19, 2019. He was a member of Lea’s Chapel Baptist Church, Valley Head, Al. Mr. Westbrook proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Westbrook and parents, Lloyd and Exa De Alva Westbrook.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda (Danny) Swafford, of Apison, Susan (Randy) Gross, of Birchwood, Christine Westbrook, of Henagar, Al. and Emily Westbrook, of Flat Rock, Al.; sons, Travis “Tab” (Robin) Westbrook, Jr., of Rising Fawn and David (Brenda) Westbrook, of Madison, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. CDT at Lea’s Chapel Baptist Church, Valley Head, Al., with Brother Richard Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
