Hamilton County Has 310 New COVID Cases And 7 New Deaths; Tennessee Has 6,691 New COVID Cases, 73 More Deaths

Hamilton County reported 310 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. The new total is 22,418.

There were seven more deaths from the virus in the county reported on Saturday, bringing the total to 212. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is 442,953 on Saturday with 6,691 new cases. There have been 73 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 5,400, said state Health Department officials.


The state currently has 2,699 people hospitalized from the virus, 58 more than on Friday.

There have been 387,395 people who have recovered from the virus in Tennessee (87 percent).

Testing numbers are above 4.869 million across the state.

Bledsoe County:  1,325 cases, up 4; 6 deaths

Bradley County:  6,722, up 115; 48 deaths, up 3

Grundy County: 913 cases, up 7; 14 deaths

Marion County: 1,426 cases, up 16; 21 deaths, down 1

Meigs County: 661 cases, up 14; 13 deaths

Polk County: 846 cases, up 7; 15 deaths

Rhea County: 2,179 cases, up 25; 39 deaths

Sequatchie County: 727 cases, up 30; 5 deaths
