Georgia Has 52 New Coronavirus Deaths, 4,257 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Wednesday there have been 52 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 9,302.

There were 4,257 new cases, as that total reached 488,338 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 38,418, up 307 from Tuesday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 2,631 cases, up 41; 34 deaths; 134 hospitalizations, up 2

Chattooga County: 1,331 cases, up 5; 37 deaths; 93 hospitalizations

Dade County: 613 cases, up 11; 7 deaths; 37 hospitalizations

Walker County: 3,176 cases, up 69; 53 deaths; 145 hospitalizations, up 3

Whitfield County: 9,262 cases, up 97; 102 deaths, up 4; 454 hospitalizations, up 1
