Baylor’s wrestler fought their way to a second place finish at the just completed Annual Knockout Christmas Classic in Orlando. The Red Raider grapplers finished just behind Tuttle from Oklahoma in a tournament that featured at least 11 nationally-ranked athletes from across the country.
Tuttle had 10 different competitors that contributed double digit points to their winning score of 215.5. Baylor was just behind at 197.5. The Raiders’ Nick Corday took the championship at 113 pounds, defeating his opponent, 2-1, in a match that went four overtime periods.
