Tony Bowman
Tony Enloe Bowman, 59, of the Walnut Grove Community of Decatur, went to his new address in Heaven on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at the Ft. Sanders Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was an electrician at Dupont for several years and loved old cars, car shows, fishing, and especially spending time with his beautiful family, Debbie, Kelly, Crystal, and his grandchildren.
Tony was a son of the late Mattie Lou Stokes Bowman and Enloe Burl Bowman and was preceded in death by his siblings: Clyde Bowman, Bobbie Embrey, Jurl Ann Lovelace, Burl John Bowman, Earl Dewayne Bowman, and an infant brother, Marvin Ray Bowman.
Tony leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife of 35 years, Debbie Bowman, and his daughters and grandchildren: Kelly Bowman, Crystal Bowman Falls, Eli Loden, Madison Loden, Bryson Falls, Carson Falls, and Chris Enloe Bowman, sister and brothers and their spouses: Mary Farmer, Linda and Johnny Lamb, Peggy Bowman, Allen and Janice Bowman, Alvin and Dana Bowman, B.T. and Sherri Bowman, Patti Jo and JR. Waller, all of Decatur and Clara Lovelace Bowman of Knoxville, and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, with the Reverend James F. Cross officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service.
