Marks, Judy (LaFayette)

Judy Marks, 76, of LaFayette, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Exie Caylor; and sister, Mary Jo Caylor Brown.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Benny Marks of LaFayette; son, Kip (Heather) Marks of LaFayette; grandchildren, Caylee and Laney Marks; great grandchild, Adalee Ellisor; sisters, Debbie (Donald) Purdy of Trion and Nancy (Tony) Ward of Pensacola, Fl.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Malcolm Harris and Brother David Thompson officiating.

Interment will be at LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.

Georgia Coronavirus Cases Now Over 10,000; 369 Deaths

Georgia state health officials said Wednesday evening that another seven people have died from the coronavirus since Wednesday morning, bringing the total to 369. The confirmed cases are now over 10,000, at 10,189, up from 9,156 on Tuesday. Officials said 2,082 have been hospitalized in Georgia with the deadly virus - up from 1,899 on Tuesday. 7 More Die Of Coronavirus In Tennessee; Cases Go To 4,362; Hamilton County Has 94 Cases With 49 Recovered

Tennessee now has 79 coronavirus deaths - up seven since the Tuesday report. Cases have gone up from 4,138 to 4,362. Officials said 449 people have been hospitalized in the state from coronavirus.
