Hixson's Kirby Brown Signs To Play With Roane State

Kirby Brown, of Hixson High School, recently signed to continue her basketball career with Roane State Community College.

As a Lady wildcat, Brown averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds per game, along with 2.8 blocks per game. Brown helped to lead Hixson to a fourth place finish in District 6-AA and a spot in the region tournament.  As a four-year starter she ended her prep career with 1,065 points.
