Wilbert Lee "Action" Harvey, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020.
He was born on Sept. 3, 1956 to Mr. James Pittman and the late Ms. Mattie Harvey Moore in Enfield, N.C. He received his Associates of Science Degree for Broadcasting at Jones College and served in the United States Army from 1974-1978. He worked in radio in Jacksonville, Fl. and worked as a supervisor for Crom, LLC. for 21 years and was presently employed at Amazon.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Mary Ann Harvey; father, James Pittman; stepchildren, Natasha Carr, Natisha Washington, and Dontate (Nidia) Washington of Dalton, Ga.; siblings, Melvin (Becky) Harvey of Milwaukee, Or., Minnie Lawerence of New York, N.Y., Mildred Byrd of Washington, D.C., John (Thelma) Harvey and Debrece Moore of Enfield, N.C., and Earl (Debbie) Harvey of Orlando, Fl.; parents-in-law, Charles and Peggy Meyers of Dalton, Ga.; siblings-in-law, Caren (Roberto) Chavez, Phyllis (Anthony) Winkfield, Kelley Washington, and Johnny Washington of Dalton, Ga.; grandchildren, Taya, Taisha, Taniya, Taylor, Lillian, Mya, and Dontate Jr. of Dalton, Ga. and a host of family and friends.
