Carrie J. Dallis, 80, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 in a local hospital.  

She was employed with Dupont for many years.  She was a member of New Mount Carmel Baptist Church.  

Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Elizabeth Johnson; brothers, Charlie Robert Wheelous, Paul Johnson, James Johnson, and John Johnson; sisters, Iola Davis and Charlie Mae Moorer.  

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Robert Dallis; daughter, Kisha (Spencer) Hammonds of Rossville; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Ellis Johnson of Chattanooga and Willie (Marilyn) Johnson of Waynesboro, VA; sisters, Lula McLean of Chattanooga, and Lois Marks of Madison, Tn.; and a host of other relatives and friends.  

She will lie in state on Wednesday, July 1, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.  

Family services will be on Thursday, July 2, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Walter Lindsey, Sr. as the eulogist.  Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
