Mary Jane “Susie” Roberts, 61, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at her home. She was born on Dec. 13, 1958 in Athens. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Susie leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Dwight Roberts; daughter, Angela Roberts; mother, Imogene Rinehart; grandchildren, Austin Monday and Zoey Roper; brothers and sisters, Brenda Ricker, of Etowah, Glenda Rinehart and Timmy Ricker; nieces and nephews, Brandon Ricker, Toby Ricker, Cody Ricker, Kaylee Bishop, Payton Bishop and Maleah McDowell, several great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A graveside service is planned for Monday, July 13 at 1 p.m. in the Mountainview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with the Pastor Bill Pearman officiating. Toby Ricker, Cody Ricker, Brandon Ricker, Keith McKenzie, Donald Everett and Jeff Womac will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Susie’s memory.
