Walker County Deputies Shoot And Kill Man Who Pointed Gun At Them

Walker County Sheriff officers shot and killed a man on Wednesday morning after Sheriff Steve Wilson said he pointed a gun at them.

The sheriff said he fired at them, but that was later retracted.

He said the man refused to put the gun down despite their demands that he do.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating the incident.

It happened at 1363 Brotherton Lane.
