Hamilton County Has Just 44 New Coronavirus Cases, But Highest Number Yet In Intensive Care; Tennessee Has 19 More Deaths

Hamilton County had just 44 new coronavirus cases on Monday, but had the highest number of COVID patients yet in Intensive Care - 35.

The cases were down from Sunday's 62 new cases after recent numbers reached up to 175 in a day. Total cases now are 5,617.

There were 85 COVID patients hospitalized as well as nine more suspected cases.

Deaths remain at 48.

The number of active cases in Hamilton County was listed at 1,461.

Tennessee had 19 more deaths bringing the toll to 1,092.

There were 1,009 cases for a total of 110,636.

Fifty two more were hospitalized to bring that total to 4,808.

There have been 70,878 recover from the virus.

Testing numbers are above 1.57 million.

Davidson County: 19,400 cases, up 80; 202 deaths, up 3 

Shelby County: 21,492 cases, up 196; 288 deaths, up 3

Bledsoe County:  672 cases, up 4; 1 death

Bradley County: 1,713 cases, up 8; 10 deaths

Franklin County: 286 cases, up 1; 4 deaths

Grundy County: 101 cases; 2 deaths

Knox County: 4,032 cases, up 106; 36 deaths, up 2

Marion County: 205 cases, down 1; 4 deaths

McMinn County: 489 cases, up 10; 20 deaths

Meigs County: 98 cases, up 2; no deaths

Monroe County: 366 cases, up 10; 9 deaths

Polk County: 165 cases, down 1; 1 death

Rhea County: 502 cases, up 5; 1 death

Sequatchie County: 94 cases; 0 deaths
