Lynette “Lynn” Picklesimer Farley
Lynette “Lynn” Picklesimer Farley, of Harrison, passed away on January 5, 2021, after a lengthy struggle with respiratory illness.
Lynn’s life and love was centered on her home. She was a homemaker and was devoted to raising her son, Joshua. She was supportive of his sports and she would never miss any of his baseball games or his dirt-bike races. She was one of those behind-the-scenes supporters who worked to promote those sports. She enjoyed traveling, the beach, and seeing stage show productions. She was an animal lover who always had a dachshund or a German Shepherd nipping at her heels.
Lynn was born on Jan. 8, 1959, to Hoyle Lee Picklesimer, Sr. and Louise Moore Picklesimer of Harrison. She was married to her one and only love, Johnny Farley.
Lynn was preceded in death by her mother and father, Hoyle and Louise Picklesimer, her grandparents, Albert Lee and Edith Moore and Earl and Opal Picklesimer and numerous uncles and aunts.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Farley, son, Joshua Dale (Ashley) Farley of Ooltewah, brother, Hoyle Picklesimer, Jr., Harrison; nephew, Hoyle Picklesimer III of Birchwood; uncles, Donald (Louella) Picklesimer, Harrison, Larry Renn Hise, Rising Fawn, aunts, Wisteria “Terry” Smith and Johnnie Sue VanGelderen of Chattanooga. Also surviving are her life-long friends, Kim and John Sanders as well as many loving cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a memorial service will be held later.
