Hamilton County Has No New Deaths From Virus, 42 More Cases; Tennessee Has 32 More Deaths

The Hamilton County Health Department reported no more coronavirus deaths on Thursday and 42 new positive cases, up from 33 on Wednesday. The total number of cases in the county now stands at 64,280. The death total is at 652. 

The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations is 80 in Hamilton County - up from 78 on Wednesday. Seven more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are 18 Hamilton County inpatients and 15 patients are in ICU - down from 19 on Wednesday.

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 62,990, which is 98 percent. There are 638 active cases, down from 664 on Wednesday.

Tennessee reported 1,210 new cases on Thursday, for a total of 1,285,737 coronavirus cases. 

There were 32 more deaths in Tennessee reported on Thursday, for a total of 16,482.

The state currently has 843 people hospitalized from the virus, 22 fewer than the day before.

The number of coronavirus tests that have been administered in the state is 10.382 million.

There have been 1,257,697 Tennesseans that have recovered from the virus, which is 98 percent.

Bledsoe County:  3,506 cases, up 4; 18 deaths

Bradley County:  22,261 cases, up 26; 201 deaths

Grundy County: 2,864 cases, up 1; 39 deaths, up 1

Marion County: 5,800 cases, up 3; 54 deaths

McMinn County: 10,570 cases, up 10; 132 deaths

Meigs County: 2,198 cases, up 6; 28 deaths

Polk County: 3,198 cases, up 2; 31 deaths

Rhea County: 7,010 cases, up 3; 93 deaths

Sequatchie County: 3,014 cases, up 7; 33 deaths

Knox County: 79,059 cases, up 80; 932 deaths

Davidson County: 121,760 cases, up 84; 1,170 deaths, up 1

Shelby County: 144,854 cases, up 126; 2,273 deaths, up 4
