County School Board To Name Next Superintendent On Thursday

  • Monday, December 6, 2021

The Hamilton County School Board on Thursday will choose the next superintendent.

That will come after the board interviews current deputy superintendent Justin Robertson on Tuesday.

The panel earlier quizzed Christopher Bernier, chief of staff of the Clark County school district in Las Vegas, and Jermaine Dawson, chief academic and accountability officer of Birmingham City Schools.

The low-budget selection process was started after Dr. Bryan Johnson made the surprise announcement he was going into private business.
