Fran Brumlow
Fran Brumlow, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1938, to the late Frank and Rosa Willoughby and was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar “Buddy” Brumlow, grandson, Steven L. Brumlow and granddaughter, Emily Wheeler.
Fran was a former employee with the Chattanooga Credit Bureau. She was an avid reader and loved writing poetry and listening to gospel music. Fran’s favorite thing to do in life was to spend time with her family. She was a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Staci Wheeler, of Rossville, two sons, Billy (Donna) Brumlow, of Chattanooga, Steve (Debbie) Brumlow, of Harrison, five grandchildren, Ryan, Andy, Tyler, Alexis and Matthew, three great grandchildren, Jordan, Naikya and Ava, brother, Jimmy (Glenda) Willoughby, of Harrison, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor David Kemp officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens – East.
The family will receive friends from 4–8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, at the funeral home.
