SUSTO Plays At The Signal June 18

  • Thursday, June 10, 2021

SUSTO, the Charleston, S.C. based band fronted by Justin Osborne, will play at the Signal on June 18.

Last week the band released a live album titled Rogue Acoustic which was recorded during a show in February of 2020 at The Royal American in the band's hometown of Charleston. The album's first single premiered on BrooklynVegan. Rogue Acoustic follows the band’s 2019 album, Ever Since I Lost My Mind, which was praised by Rolling Stone, Paste, and Premier Guitar,  who called the album “a showcase for frontman Justin Osborne’s masterful songwriting.”

Steeped in Southern Gothic and Psychedelia, SUSTO is centered around the lyrical narrative of Osborne, who founded the band in 2013 while living in Havana, Cuba. “SUSTO" roughly translates to "ongoing spiritual panic attack” in Spanish.
