Hamilton County Has No More Coronavirus Deaths, 70 New Cases

Hamilton County had 70 new coronavirus cases reported on Tuesday, bringing the total to 46,153.

There have been no more deaths from the virus, and the total is at 510 in the county.  

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 45,130, which is 98 percent, and there are 513 active cases. 

There are 49 patients hospitalized and 19 in intensive care units. Four more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are 35 Hamilton County inpatients.

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 876,543 Tuesday with 915 new cases. There were eight more deaths reported, for a total of 12,647, State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 476 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 54 more than on Monday. Testing numbers are above 8.316 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 856,713, which is 98 percent.

Bradley County:  15,415 cases, up 8; 155 deaths

Grundy County: 1,816 cases, up 2; 35 deaths

Marion County: 3,292 cases, up 6; 49 deaths

Meigs County: 1,437 cases; 24 deaths

Polk County: 2,126 cases, up 2; 24 deaths

Rhea County: 4,415 cases, up 9; 82 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,784 cases, up 1; 29 deaths

Knox County: 52,512 cases, up 60; 650 deaths

Davidson County: 91,206 cases, up 70; 958 deaths, up 1

Shelby County: 101,038 cases, up 160; 1,712 deaths, up 3
