Hamilton County Has No More Coronavirus Deaths, 134 New Cases

Hamilton County had 134 new coronavirus cases reported on Friday, bringing the total to 47,185.

There have been no more deaths from the virus, and the total is at 515 in the county.  

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 45,566, which is 97 percent, and there are 1,104 active cases. 

There are 83 patients hospitalized and 21 in intensive care units. Two more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are 44 Hamilton County inpatients.

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 893,554 Friday with 2,223 new cases. There were 2 more deaths reported, for a total of 12,732, State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 949 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 56 more than on Thursday. Testing numbers are above 8.422 million across the state.

Bradley County:  15,629 cases, up 28; 156 deaths

Grundy County: 1,852 cases, up 5; 35 deaths

Marion County: 3,413 cases, up 10; 50 deaths

Meigs County: 1,454 cases, up 2; 24 deaths

Polk County: 2,150 cases, up 5; 24 deaths

Rhea County: 4,484 cases, up 6; 82 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,832 cases, up 3; 30 deaths

Knox County: 53,338 cases, up 107; 656 deaths

Davidson County: 92,708 cases, up 186; 961 deaths, down 1

Shelby County: 104,185 cases, up 450; 1,736 deaths.
