Hamilton County Has No New COVID Deaths, 52 New Cases; Tennessee Has 416 New Cases, 6 More Deaths

Hamilton County had 52 new coronavirus cases reported since Tuesday, bringing the total to 45,613.

There have been no more deaths from the virus, and the total is at 509 in the county. 

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 44,913, which is 98 percent, and there are 191 active cases. 

There are 15 patients hospitalized and seven in Intensive Care Units. Three more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are five Hamilton County inpatients.

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 868,738 since Tuesday with 416 new cases. There were six more deaths reported since Tuesday, for a total of 12,583, State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 235 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 15 more than on Tuesday. Testing numbers are above 8.227 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 853,563, which is 98 percent.

Bradley County:  15,334 cases, up 9; 155 deaths

Grundy County: 1,804 cases; 35 deaths

Marion County: 3,271 cases, up 1; 49 deaths

Meigs County: 1,430 cases, up 1; 24 deaths

Polk County: 2,115 cases, up 2; 24 deaths

Rhea County: 4,391 cases, up 2; 82 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,764 cases; 29 deaths

Knox County: 52,188 cases, up 23; 647 deaths

Davidson County: 90,482 cases, up 37; 952 deaths

Shelby County: 99,160 cases, up 88; 1,696 deaths
