Chattanooga Works

  • Wednesday, January 19, 2022

I was driving south on 153 back to East Brainerd and looking out at the mountains in the distance and the lake so calm now and thought to myself, Chattanooga is a good place to be and a good place to be in constant awe of the beauty that surrounds us. I am not native to Chattanooga, nor the south, but more and more I love it.

There is another point that needs to be shared and that is the government in Chattanooga works and works for nearly all. The physical distance is small and what that means or should to all of us  government works because politicians are neighbors.  Can we say the same thing for the federal government?

The school system under excellent leadership is in constant progress finding new and better ways to teach to the vast array of students present. We don't pay teachers enough but that is another article.

I respect and admire those that comment on this online opinion page. I can view and laugh a bit or scowl at how dumb that comment seems.  I can do that and live in peace.

Be thankful that Chattanooga works.  I have lived in other cities that do not work well.
