Bradley Girls Get Decisive Win In Battle Of Unbeatens

Bearettes Down Greeneville In Thanksgiving Classic, 62-46

A battle of undefeateds took place Saturday at “The Jim” on the campus of Bradley Central. When it was said and done the Bearettes were the only “and 0” team left standing.

Bradley placed four players in double figures to dismantle the Lady Green Devils, 62-46. Kimora Fields led the way with 15 markers, followed by Avary Brewer with 14 and Harmonie Ware and Hannah Jones with 12 each. Lauren Bailey topped the Greeneville team with 15 points.

The Bearettes led Greeneville in every category, including points in the paint, 32-12.

Greeneville led by 18-12 after the first quarter before Bradley hung 21 points on the board in the second stanza, all while holding the Lady Green Devils to just eight .

For the game the Bearettes shot 47.9 percent from the field, hitting 23 of 48 attempts.

Bradley now stands at 5-0 on the young season, while Greeneville slips to 4-1

In other action from the Erie Insurance Thanksgiving Classic, York Institute downed McMinn Central, 54-39 and Coffee Co.
slammed McMinn Co., 82-29.
