Roger “Kinnie” Smith, 83, of Rossville, Georgia, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Kinnie was born in Onieda, Tn., to the late Mr. Howard Smith and Mrs. Elizabeth Blevins Smith.

Kinnie was a very hard working man. He was a design engineer for Robert Shaw Industries for many years. Kinnie was a loving husband, an avid golfer, a Tennessee Vols fan and a truly wonderful soul. He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Tyler Smith, and brother, Phillip Smith.

Kinnie is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Hale, children; Suzanne Foster and Anthony Keats, sisters; Sharon Hodges and Debbie (Carlos) Webb. Many grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Kinnie’s memory.

A celebration of Kinnie's life will be conducted at a later date.
