Laura Dean Stewart Knowles
Laura Dean Stewart Knowles, 83, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022.
She was born on May 13, 1938, to the late Lonnie Stewart and Laura Finley Stewart.
She was preceded by her husband, Henry Knowles; sister, Annie Mae Glanton; and brothers, Earl Finley and Lacell Stewart.
She was a faithful dedicated member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Those left to cherish fond memories and to mourn her loss, her loving son, Felix (Kim) Knowles of Rome, Georgia; brother, Roland (Jackie) Stewart; godson, Atley Settles of Nashville, Tennessee; special friend, Edward (HD) Lamar; very devoted sisters-in-law, Myrtis Evans and Theresa Harris; brother-in-law, Marcellous Knowles; special friends, Ruth Starr, Jerry and Sandra Knox, Isaac and Aaron Adams, the Starr family; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many saddened friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, at 2 p.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church, 309 Martin Street, Summerville, Georgia 30747 with Pastor Robert Barrett as eulogist, and Rev. King Harris, presiding.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
Interment will be at Summerville Cemetery.
