Georgia Has 59 More Coronavirus Deaths And 678 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Monday there have been 59 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 30,742.

There are 678 new cases reported on Monday, as that total reaches 1,922,983 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations with the virus are at 109,695, which is an increase of 153 since Friday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 12,436 cases, up 14; 126 deaths

Chattooga County: 5,246 cases; 112 deaths

Dade County: 2,554 cases; 25 deaths

Walker County: 13,543 cases, up 19; 185 deaths, up 1

Whitfield County: 27,288 cases, up 2; 386 deaths, up 1
