2022 Cleveland State Baseball Summer Camp Series
Cleveland State Community College Baseball Coach, Mike Policastro, announces the 2022
Cleveland State Baseball Camp Summer Series. Instructed by Cleveland State Baseball staff
and players, campers have the option to participate in several skills-based camps throughout
the month of June.

Skills Camp
June 6-9
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
(Ages 5-12)

The Skills Camp is designed to offer instruction in all areas of baseball–with an emphasis on
hitting, fielding, bunting, defense, and baserunning. Campers will participate in a game each
day. For group work, campers will be grouped by age. For personal instruction and guidance,
small groups will consist of 6-8 campers.

Advanced Pitching Camp; Catching Camp
June 13-15
9:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
(Ages 8-16)

The Advanced Pitching and Camping Camp is designed to offer instruction on two separate
tracks. Each camper will choose to join the pitching track or catching track. Instruction will be
comprehensive–covering all aspects of each position. At the conclusion of camp, pitching-track
campers will throw a bullpen to catching-track campers. Campers, who sign up for the catching
track, will need catching equipment.

Advanced Hitting Camp
June 20-22
9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
(Ages 8-16)

The Advanced Hitting Camp is designed to put campers through all aspects of hitting– with drills
and instruction. Campers will need to bring a bat.
Each camp session will take place on Cleveland State’s athletic fields. Registration may be
accessed through the attached flier. Participants may also register 30 minutes prior on the first
day of each camp.
