Carlos “Bucky” Burnside, 82, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his home. 

He was a member of Dalton Pike Baptist Church. Carlos was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia “Jenny” Burnside; son, Scott Berry; parents, Chester and Mary Burnside; and granddaughter, Tonya.

Survivors include his; four children, Chuck Webb (Vickie) of Knoxville, Kevin Berry (Sheryl), of Ronceverte, WV, Briant Berry (Cindy Smith)  of Dalton, GA and Connie Hall(Paul)of Cleveland; 14 grandchildren, Major, Austin, Jeff, Orrin and Tonya, Ryan and Lisa, Amanda and Jimmy, Hilarie and Matt, Jessica, Maranda and Derick, Anne, Courtney and Zack; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Maxine Siley (Paul); uncle, Pete Melancon and aunt Dee Dee; cousins, Bettie Mortin and Shirley March; and several nieces and nephews.

The service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Griffith and Pastor Justin Howard officiating. 

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Ryan Berry, Orrin Berry, Kyle Berry, Austin Webb, Jimmy Koons, Matt Anderson, Terry Fain, and Tyler Keith serving as pallbearers. David Rigsby and Paul Hall will serve as honorary pallbearers.

His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
