Thomas Richard “Rick” Moore, Jr., 78, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

 

Mr. Moore was born in Chattanooga, Tn., on June 5, 1943, the son of the late Thomas Richard Moore, Sr. and Kathryn Louise Thomas Tutwiler. He retired from TR Moore and Associates in 2019. Mr. Moore was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was avid UT fan and enjoyed fast sports cars and collecting watches. Mr. Moore’s love was spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Moore; a brother, Gilbert Stipe; and a sister, Sammie Bratton.

 

Survivors include his three daughters, Amy McKinney (Mike Harrison, Mandy Long (Mike), and Emily Russell (Sean); eight grandchildren, Erica Rankin, Abby McKinney, Molly McKinney, Maggie Long, Megan Long, Mason Long, Tyson Russell, and Carson Russell; two great-grandchildren, Emma Powell and Reece Rankin; and his step-father, George Tutwiler.

 

Graveside and interment services will be held on Friday, April 29, at 11 a.m. in Lee Cemetery in McDonald, Tn.

 

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel.
