Adena Ann Key, 87, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Olive Davis; her sisters, Dr. Rosemary Davis and Jean Bunce; her brother, Curt Davis; and her son-in-law, Dinos Metaxas.

Adena was a retired teacher and school librarian from Michigan Avenue School, and also taught Sunday school at her church, First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford Key; her daughters, Elizabeth Howell and Julie Metaxas; her grandchildren, Eric (Chelsey) Howell, Kendra (Michael) Byler, and Bryan Howell; her great-granddaughters, Isabelle and Avarie Byler; sister, Joy Potts; and many nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Friday, May 27, at 6 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor B. J. Miller and Reverend R. David O'Neal officiating. Interment will be conducted at a later time in the family cemetery.

The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the charity of your choice or to your Church.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene here in Cleveland.

The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
