Timothy Norris Lawson, 65, of Chattanooga, Tn. passed away on Wednesday, August 10th unexpectedly yet peacefully at home on his farm, his favorite place in this world.

An All-American football player growing up, a successful business leader, and mentor to so many, Tim spent his entire life focused on the betterment of those closest to him.  A natural born leader,  always in service of others - unwavering commitment to family, friends, and colleagues to help them become the absolute best version of themselves.

He loved being outside - farming, boating, flying planes, RVing, but more than anything he valued quality time laughing, joking, listening, and loving all those around him.

Tim was a model of authenticity, loyalty, compassion, generosity, and charisma. He had a heart of pure gold, a best friend and confidant to so many and was always there when someone needed him.

But his proudest and most treasured title, the one that brought the most joy into his world was…Dad. Very simply no one loved more deeply.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Charlotte Lawson.

He is survived and loved by his daughter, Abby Lawson, son, Chris Lawson (wife Jenn), his grandchildren, Gage, Knox, Savannah, and Sadie, his brother, Eddie Lawson (wife Debbie), three loving nieces, Lindsey, Emily, and Courtney, and mother of his children and still best friend Tammy Smith.

A Celebration of life visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 1-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Tim to the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Arrangements entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Home located at 4506 Hixson Pike Hixson, TN 37343. 423-531-3975.
