Margaret Anne Bryant, 90, of Dayton, Tennessee, and formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went home to be with Jesus on August 30, 2022.

The matriarch of her family, she and her husband Jack had four boys who each filled her with joy. In earlier years, she enjoyed arrowhead hunting and traveling expeditions to places like Alaska and Hawaii. She marched to the beat of her own drum with strength and perseverance. She adored her family, especially her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as all living creatures, including her pet birds and dogs. She cared deeply for people, had the most infectious child-like laugh, and generally enjoyed life. Her strong faith and trust in the Lord upheld her throughout her lifetime. She was a true gem and blessed all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Margaret Anne was a devoted member of New Union Baptist Church.

Born in Buffalo, NY to Lewis and Dorothy Guinn, she graduated Hickman County High School, Tn., in 1950.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Betty McNulty, Leon Guinn and Norton Guinn; husband of 65 years, Jack Bryant; and eldest son, Rick Bryant.

Left to treasure her memory are her children Larry (Angie) Bryant of Dayton, Daughter in law Debbie Bryant of Hixson, Mark (Cyndy) Bryant of Covington, LA and Jack (Tracy) Bryant of Crossville; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the loving care of the staff of the Veranda Life Care Center of Rhea County and to Hearth Hospice.

A private family graveside service will be held Sept. 9.

In lieu of flowers the family request making donations to Spina Bifida Association, https://www.spinabifidaassociation.org

Arrangements are entrusted to Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415, www.lanefh.com, 423 877-3524.
