Senora Nellie Aquirre Monreal, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

She was born June 17, 1933, in Dallas Ft. Worth, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Q. Monreal; son, Jimmy Joe Cordova; parents, Felix Aguirre and Petra Alvarez Aguirre; grandchildren, Samuel Cordova, Alonzo Hurtado, and Tammy Lynn Glenny; and father of her children, Celestino Cordova.

She is survived by her loving children, Robert Cordova, Danny (Teresa) Cordova, Phillip Cordova, Sammy (Terri) Cordova, Mike Cordova, Billy (Connie) Cordova, Celestina Cordova, Patrick Cordova, Gabriel (Charlene) Cordova; stepchildren, Sergio (Rosa) Monrreal, Leticia (Juan Martinez) Monrreal, Elena (Jose Luis Ramirez) Monrreal, Rosario (Juan A. Martinez) Monrreal; 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral service will be Monday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m. at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Cirilo Arias, Eulogist.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 2, from 4-8 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home.

Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home Inc., Dalton, Ga.
