Chattanoogan.com publisher John Wilson held the first of two book signings Thursday at Zarzours Cafe on Rossville Avenue.

Historian Sam Hall and retired broadcaster Earl Freudenberg got the first two copies of “More Old Chattanooga Photos.”

Mr. Wilson will return to Zarzour’s on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. personally signing copies of the newly released book. The publication contains several hundred pictures of homes, businesses, people, trains, streets and several communities.

Mr. Wilson said, “This is the perfect Christmas gift for anyone - especially those interested in Chattanooga history in picture form.”

Mr. Wilson has spent decades collecting thousands of pictures and is now sharing them in book form.

He was a reporter for the Chattanooga News Free Press for 27 years and has published the Chattanoogan.com since 1999.
