Christopher Maurice Goines
Christopher Maurice Goines, 36, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on January 19, 2023.
He was born to Mary C. Shepheard and Bobby Lee Goines on July 21, 1986.
He graduated from Tyner High School in 2005, where he participated in the beginner band program and was a member of the Tyner Rams basketball and track teams.
He is survived by his mother, Mary C. Shepheard; his father, Bobby L. Goines; stepmother, Romona Goines; children, Ciriniti Goines, Aslan Goines, Maleaya Goines, Zelena Goines (Georgia); two stepchildren, Juan Arias, and Naya Williams; step-granddaughter, Everlee Arias; two brothers Bobby (Megan) Goines and Bristen Goines; sister, Starsha Barnswell (Pennsylvania), as well as beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Public viewing will be held 2-6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, at the funeral home. An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, in the chapel of the John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
