Cordie Mae Gentry
Cordie Mae Gentry, age 91, of Rocky Face, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Calhoun Health Care.
She was born Oct. 10, 1931. She was a member at Lindsey Memorial Baptist Church.
She loved to set on her front porch, with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Gentry; parents, Auther and Earlie Smith; sisters, Carla Smith and Birdie Holsomback; sister in-law, Mary Ann Smith; sons-in-law, Tommy Holsomback and Paul Patterson.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Underwood, of Rocky Face; grandsons, Jason Gilbert of Lafayette, Derek Gilbert of Rocky Face; great-granddaughters, their spouse, and their children, Kaily, Kevin and Scarlett Brown; Emma Gilbert, Annislee, Annalisa, Asher McClure; brother, Shuford Smith of Dalton; sisters, Ruby Patterson and Christine Guess of Rocky Face; nieces and nephews.
She will be buried at Lindsey Memorial Cemetery.
