McLemore’s restaurant The Creag on Lookout Mountain is planning a very special evening for guests on Valentine's. The five-course experience features choices of salads, appetizers and vegetables to accompany main course selections of seared sea bass, roasted duck breast, or filet mignon. The meal concludes with a dessert course with several options.
The dinner features for the evening reflect the modern Appalachian feel of the menu developed by Chef Mike Price. He notes that the creation of dishes coming from The Creag’s kitchen reflect a creativity that positions food as an artform. “I specialize in open-fire cooking so I take food from different cultures I admire and blend them into dishes for guest presentation.”
The Creag’s prixe fix dinner menu is $100 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Wine pairings are available for $40 per person which will provide four glasses of wine to accompany the meal.
