Pamella Joyce Dave
In memory of Pamella Joyce Dave, who peacefully passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the age of 73, we join her family and friends in mourning her passing.
Pamella was a devout Baptist who accepted the Lord at an early age. She remained steadfast in her faith and found comfort in her belief that the Lord never left her side, even during her illness.
Pamella was a proud graduate of Howard High School's Class of 1968 and went on to study business administration at Knoxville College and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Pamella was preceded in death by her mother, Adelaide Shelton Dave, and sister, Alice Jacqueline Jones.
She is survived by her cherished only daughter, LaTonya (Brendan) Rogers of Harrison, and the love of her life, grandson, Joel Christopher Dossett of Chattanooga. Pamella will be dearly missed by her devoted sisters, Veronica (Lee) Jones and Cleopatra Houston, brother Alex Christopher Dave, five nieces, two nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a wide circle of relatives and friends. She will also be deeply missed by her lifelong friend Regina (Van) Hickman of Chattanooga, and spiritual friend Patricia Anderson of Center Line, Mi.
A public viewing will be held on Sunday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave.
Following this, a family hour will take place from 1-2 p.m. at Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church, 1115 North Moore Road, with a funeral service commencing at 2 p.m.
