1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In Wreck On Evensville Mountain In Rhea County

A two-vehicle crash on Evensville Mountain in Rhea County has resulted in one fatality and one person being taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The accident occurred Saturday around noon on Liberty Hill Road.

The accident is currently under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol with assistance from the Rhea County Sheriff's Department.

This is an active investigation and more details will be forthcoming.
