Jeffery Eugene Giles, 62, of East Ridge passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2024.

He was a graduate of East Ridge High School, Class of 1980 and formerly worked for Olan Mills until a disability forced him to retire. Jeff was a big University of Tennessee Fan and an avid collector of cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Eugene Giles.

Left behind to cherish Jeff’s memory are his mother, Shirley Giles, sister, Cathey Whicker, brother-in-law, Dallas Whicker, nephew, Brandon Whicker (Kate), great-nephew and niece, Tagen and Gevy Whicker, niece, Nicole Pope (Nick), great nephew and niece, Conrad and Remy Pope and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Thursday, July 25, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Chad Harris officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
