Ellen Wright
Ellen Wright, 70, of Rossville, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024.
She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January 15, 1954 to the late Ed and Betty Morgan. Ellen attended Rossville High School and graduated from Northwestern Technical College. She retired from Erlanger in 2016 where she worked as a patient access representative. Ellen enjoyed watching television, reading, riding through the mountains, but most of all, spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.
Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Arby Wright Jr., parents, Ed and Betty Morgan, brother, Joseph Edgar Morgan Jr., two sisters-in-law, Marie and Carolyn Wright, and brother-in-law, Ron McKnight.
Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Ruth (David) Whitaker, Vera (Danny) Viar, Rebecca (Matt) Hixon, two grandchildren, Elijah and Breanna Whitaker, two sisters, Kathy Bennett and Amy Morgan, five brothers, Reid (Monica) Morgan, Dave (Gail) Morgan, William (Tonya) Morgan, Mylon (Theresa) Morgan, and Seth Morgan, four beloved brothers-in-law, Gilbert (Tina) Wright, Robert Wright, James (Juanita) Wright, Greg (Barbara) Wright, and a beloved sister-in-law, Vera McKnight, a special niece, Samantha Wright; and a host of nieces and nephews, and several other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday prior to the funeral service from 12:00-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
