Norma Jean Blevins, 83, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, in a local hospital.

She was born on March 2, 1941, in Chattanooga. She attended Chattanooga public schools and was a graduate of Howard High School.

She was formerly employed by CHI Memorial Hospital and Erlanger Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gurtha L. and Laura Wilson, sister Leomia E. Blevins, nephew, Michael Ferguson.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving son, Norman Blevins and daughter-in-law Beverly Blevins, of Duluth, Ga; grandchildren, Kesha Blevins of Buford, Ga, and Joshua Blevins of Chattanooga; nieces, Janice Henry of Belleville, IL, Pamela Boykin of Saint Hedwig, Tx, Yolanda Blevins of Orland Park, IL, LaQuisa Beck of Monee, IL, Tyra Blevins of Ann Arbor, Mi; nephews, Larry Ferguson of Santa Barbra, Ca, Ernest Blevins of Duluth, Ga, Demetrius Pool of Shiloh, IL and numerous cousins and friends. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb 21, 2025, in the funeral home chapel.

The body will lie in state at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, and the family will receive friends from 4–6 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.

Interment will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
