Lewis Allen French was 83 years and seven months.

He was married to his wife, Barbara Jean (Rands) for 63 years and 10 months.

Lew was born on July 16, 1941 in Whitwell, to James Lewis and Nina French. Lew was the third of 10 children.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; daughters, Cheryl (Edek) Dowhanycz, Rene French, Edie French; son, Allen (Lilly) French, Jr. Also, seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Georgia) French, George French, Eddie (Becky) French; sisters, Ann Blivin, Katie Ashley and Jean Teague.

His first love was our Heavenly Father, Jehovah God and dedicated his life to do God’s will. He symbolized this by baptism on June 15, 1951.

Later, in 1960, at a District Convention in Nashville, he met his second love. Barbara married him on April 29, 1961.

We are all saddened by our temporary loss; but rejoice in the hope that we will see him again in perfect health.

Arrangements are entrusted to Covenant Funeral & Crematory, Crox family owned and operated, www.CovenantFuneral.com.
