Darline Goins, 70, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She was a devoted mother, granny, sister, and friend who touched the lives of those around her with love and kindness.

Darline had a deep love for music, enjoying everything from Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson to The Weeknd. Music was always a part of her life, bringing her joy and comfort. She also had a sweet tooth and never passed up a bowl of ice cream or a hotdog from Kay’s Kastle, which she considered one of her guilty pleasures.

She passed away on the 54th wedding anniversary to the love of her life, Hubert Alan Goins. Their bond was unbreakable, and there was no one in the world she treasured more. She now joins him in eternal peace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford James and Georgia Mae Frizzell; her husband, Hubert Alan Goins; her siblings, Charles Edwin Frizzell, James Adrian Frizzell, Shirley Diane Frizzell Sluder Hooker, Carolyn Frizzell Lewis, and Nina Marie Frizzell.

Survivors include her children, Keith Alan Goins (Melissa) and Mary Ann Simms (Andy); her grandchildren, Bailey Elise Goins, Cassidy Morgan Simms, Kinsley Nicole Simms, Carson Andrew Simms and Parker Dylan Simms; one great-grandchild; her siblings, Peggy Sue Standifer (David), Sandra Ireland, Jeanette Leffew, and Edward Bernard (Linda) Frizzell; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home in Rossville, GA, with Sister Kathy Stamey officiating. A graveside service will follow at Harrison Cemetery in Harrison.
