Taylor Walker Anders, 38, of Chattanooga, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 23, 2025, leaving behind a deep and immeasurable void in the hearts of all who loved her.

A lifelong Chattanoogan, Taylor graduated from Ooltewah High School and earned her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. At the time of her passing, she was a valued member of the sales team at Transport Enterprise Leasing Company.

Taylor was a radiant soul – gracious, generous, and endlessly caring. She loved without hesitation and gave herself completely to the people in her life. Her presence was a gift; her laughter, a comfort; her heart, boundless in its capacity for compassion. She supported and lifted those around her, always offering a kind word, a listening ear, and full hearted devotion. To be loved by Taylor was to be wrapped in warmth, understanding, and unwavering support.

She shared a deep and beautiful love with her husband, Jon Tyler Anders – a love that illuminated their life together and touched everyone around them. Her family and friends were her greatest treasures, and she cherished every moment with them.

Taylor was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Janie Gatlin (Glen) and Larry Wilson, aunt, Jan Wilson, paternal grandparents Barbara and Andy Walker, aunt Jan Wilson, and uncle Kenny Parson.

Left to honor her memory are her beloved husband, Jon Tyler Anders; devoted mother, Chris Wilson Walker; her loving father, Blake Walker (Missy); cherished siblings, Dr. Tyler Walker (Flora) and Sarah Vanderslice; adored nephews and niece, Edwin Walker, Brooks Walker, and Anna Templeton; uncle, Dr. Andy Walker (Sherry); aunt Kim Toomey (Debo); along with countless friends and extended family whose lives were brightened by Taylor’s love and spirit.

Visitation will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421, hosted by her husband, mother, and brother. A private family celebration of Taylor’s life will follow at 4:30 p.m.

In honor of Taylor’s boundless love for animals, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Mckamey Animal Center (4500 N. Access Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415) and the Humane Educational Society of Hamilton County (4155 Randolph Circle, Chattanooga, Tn. 37406).
