Hogan, Charles Lester

Charles Lester Hogan, age 61, of Chattanooga, died October 18, 2006 at a local hospital.

He was retired from the Public Works Department of the City of Chattanooga with 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl A. and Palestine “Pat” Hogan, and daughter, Crystal Lynn Hogan.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sarah “Sally” Hogan; son, Charles “Brad” Hogan of Chattanooga; brothers, John Hogan of South Pittsburg, Tn., Leroy Hogan of McDonald, Tn., Gary Hogan of Rocky Face; sisters, Charlotte Hogan of S. Pittsburg, Patsy Webb of Haletown, Tn., Karen Chance of Jasper, Tn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Charles Cochran and Gus Stone officiating. The interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, South Pittsburg, Tn.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association 519 E. 4th St., Chattanooga, TN 37403 or the United Way 630 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402.

The family received friends on Thursday from 4-9 p.m.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home 7454 East Brainerd Road.
