Mount Juliet, Tn., Man Was Victim In Wreck On I-24 Near Nickajack Lake After Losing Control On A Curve

One person was killed Friday afternoon in a wreck on I-24 westbound just before Nickajack Lake.

The victim was identified as Tommy Rogers of Mount Juliet, Tn.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said he lost control on a curve and flipped into oncoming traffic. His vehicle was struck by a car driven by Janakjiev Igor of Renton, Wash., who was not injured.

The victim was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.
