A man with a prior felony drug conviction was again caught with drugs and was sentenced to serve 76 months in federal prison.
Matthew Kennemore appeared before Judge Curtis Collier.
On May 2, 2017, federal marshals took Kennemore into custody on a federal supervised release violation.
Marshals found a GMC truck behind his house with both doors open. A key to the truck was in Kennemore's pocket.
In the truck was a black bag that contained Kennemore's driver's license as well as marijuana, meth in five individual packages, two sets of digital scales, prescription pills and a Beretta .22 caliber pistol.
Kennemore admitted he had been obtaining small amounts of marijuana and meth to use and sell every week.
He said he had bought the Beretta handgun before going to federal prison the first time and had just kept it.
He earlier pleaded guilty to drug and gun violations.
