UTC To Pay City $531,096 For Accumulated Stormwater Fees

  • Tuesday, December 3, 2019

City Attorney Phil Noblett said Tuesday that UTC has agreed to pay a large amount of accumulated stormwater fees.

The total check coming to the city from the university will be 531,096.16.

The city is forgiving any accumulated interest.

In November, 2018, city officials said the city had been unable to collect $9,568,043 in stormwater fees, with almost all of that from governments, including the county and UTC.
