A man came home Sunday evening to find his jet ski and property was on fire.  The Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded to 9960 Hamby Road and found a jet ski on fire and spreading quickly into the woods.

Fire officials reported the driveway was too steep for fire engines. Firefighters had to work quickly to lay 1,000 feet of 2 1/2 inch hose to get water to the scene.

No injuries were reported but HCEMS was staging nearby for any potential injuries to firefighters.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Damages are unknown at this time.
