Tennessee Valley Has Wettest 12-Month Period Ever

The Tennessee Valley had the wettest 12-month period ever from October 2019 to September 2020, TVA officials said.

The valley received 75.74 inches of rain, which is 150 percent of normal.

It is the wettest period on record by 2.8 inches.

For the first time, there were 12 consecutive months with above-average rainfall.
